March 7, 2019: According to writer William Evans, the best hole at Cobb’s Creek was left on the cutting room floor. The 18th hole was intended to be a par 5 with the tee near the current 11th green (the original 17th) playing up and down to the current 18th green. Dramatic closure for sure. And here is a video to try to give you an idea of what it would be like.
