July 26, 2017 update: One of the walls of the new clubhouse is now nicely decked out with two items courtesy of the Friends of Cobb’s Creek GC (see photo below). The top being a photo of the original 11th hole (current 16th) we believe taken during the 1928 Publinks. The bottom plaque commemorates Cobb’s Creek being inducted to the African American Golfers Hall of Fame.
